1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information liftfam ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use the site and our follower-exchange service, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the service you agree to this policy.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to operate the service:
- Account data — basic profile fields (such as username, public display name, and avatar) returned by the social platforms you choose to connect.
- OAuth tokens — short-lived access tokens that let us perform follow actions on your behalf. We never see, store, or request your platform passwords.
- Service activity — coins earned and spent, follow actions you complete, and which platforms are linked to your account.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, used for security and to keep the service reliable.
3. How we use your information
- To operate the follower exchange and run the coin system.
- To authenticate you and protect against abuse, fraud, and bots.
- To improve features, fix bugs, and measure aggregate performance.
- To communicate service-related notices when necessary.
4. OAuth and third-party platforms
When you connect an account, the underlying platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, Telegram, Spotify, or Twitch) authenticates you directly. We receive only the permissions you approve at the consent screen, and you can revoke access at any time from the platform's own security settings.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with infrastructure providers that help us run the service (such as hosting and analytics), and only to the extent needed for them to perform that work. We may also disclose information when required by law.
6. Data retention
We keep service data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile and revoke stored OAuth tokens. Some records may be retained briefly in backups or where required by law.
7. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the service is used. You can clear or block cookies from your browser settings, though parts of the service may stop working without them.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, scoped OAuth permissions, and standard hardening practices to protect the service. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or limit how it is used. You can exercise these rights from your account settings or by reaching out through the service.
10. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please let us know so we can remove it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the service before they take effect.
